We are pleased to announce that the IDREEM project is featured in the current edition of the Futuris series and is being broadcasted this week by Euronews TV channel. In this documentary titled A Fresh Splash For Aquaculture, producer Julián López Gómez interviews our coordinator Adam Hughes (SAMS) about how today’s European aquaculture can become more imaginative, more profitable, more efficient and more sustainable with integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture. Then they sail together to Loch Fyne, in the west of Scotland, to visit one of the project’s sites, where integrated multi-trophic aquaculture is being applied by David Attwood (Scottish Salmon Company) to grow shellfish and seaweeds along with salmons, with the scientific support of Lars Brunner (SAMS).
